Frequently Asked Questions

The Diploma in Executive Coaching is designed for people with a basic understanding of coaching, including experienced coaches and professionals who want to get certification or increase their career opportunities. Previous programmes have benefited participants from a variety of backgrounds, including management, human resources, training, consulting, leadership, transitioning employees, CEOs, CMOs, CFOs, department heads, in-house coaches, organisations that foster coaching cultures, aspiring coaches, business owners, and educational leaders.
There is a questionnaire, some recommended reading and also some online learning via the interactive e-learning portal (approximately two hours). You are expected to find a minimum of two practice clients to work with, free of charge, during the programme (to be ready following module one onwards). We will provide some guidance around this.
We advise against missing days wherever possible and recommend working in the same cohort for the full duration of the programme to enhance your personal learning journey and network building. If for any reason you need to transfer to another programme, we will work with you to ensure the best possible outcome.
The assessment for the Diploma in Executive Coaching consists of a full day with presentations held in the morning and coaching demonstrations in the afternoon. Your 3,000 word essay will need to be completed and emailed to the relevant faculty member in advance of your assessment day.
The programme includes an assessment day and if for any reason, you do not pass, our faculty will continue to work closely with you to ensure you can re-submit your essay or repeat your demonstration or presentation to work on your goal and become a certified executive coach.
